Nanoday event at Jackson State University
We would like to invite you to join in our Nanoday event at Jackson, MS. Our invited speaker is Sir
Harold (Harry) Kroto, who has been awarded Nobel Prize in Chemistry at 1996.
Professor Kroto will deliver his first lecture for K12 participants on Science, Society and Sustainability. The audience will be local high school students, teachers, undergraduate and graduate students and general public. We are expecting around 2000 participants for this event.
His second seminar will be on Architecture in NanoSpace, for grduate, undergraduate, scientists and faculty members.
Our second day events will be at Mississippi Museum of Natural Sciences, where Prof. Kroto will deliver a lecture for general public and we have film presentations in the theatre to the general public on nanoscience/nanotechnology.
